Antique medallion pendant with a depiction of Jesus on the front, with rose-cut diamonds set in platinum all around the edge. The back is engraved with "Maria del Carmen Aliaga Recuerdo de 1a Comunion Junio 21. 918", accented with decorative flourishes. We think the engraving is likely a mistake and meant to say "1918", as the style makes sense for the early 20th century. An absolutely beautiful piece with excellent craftsmanship, as seen in the details of the Sacred Heart depiction, the folds of His clothes, and features of His face. The rose-cut diamonds glimmer delicately, a perfect accent to this beautiful piece. 0.20 cts total diamonds, G/H color, I clarity.

Marked 18k, tested 18k and platinum. In good antique condition with expected wear for age- one diamond along the bottom left edge is chipped.
