2000s Cartier Santos Demoiselle

Originally created for Brazilian aeronaut and inventor Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Cartier Santos Demoiselle variant is a tribute to the Santos-Dumont "Demoiselle" monoplanes, a series of small, nimble, single-passenger sports aircraft that marked innovation in sports aviation. 

The Santos Demoiselle draws from these classic aviation silhouettes. Departing from the original industrial, screw-adorned bezel and bracelet, this model features a sleek, polished square case with a curved profile, softer edges, and a supple "brick-link" bracelet similar to that of the Panthère. 

This two-tone version combines 18k yellow gold and stainless steel, for a refined and versatile look. The Demoiselle features the hallmark low-profile fit of the Santos,  comfortable on the wrist. Now discontinued, the Demoiselle remains an illustrious discovery that captures a unique chapter of Cartier’s horological heritage.
