Beautiful, bold vintage ring with a natural black star sapphire and sparkling baguette diamonds in a chunky geometric setting. This star sapphire is very rare and special...usually star sapphires have 6-pointed stars, but this one has not one, but two stars superimposed on top of each other, creating a star with 12 points! Natural inclusions within the stone cause this beautiful effect, best viewed in sunlight or other bright lighting. This star sapphire exhibits even, unbroken legs of the stars, adding to the stone's rarity. The ring's shoulders are set with sparkling baguette diamonds for the perfect finishing touch. 7.8 x 6.9 mm cabochon star sapphire, approx. 0.3 cts natural baguette diamonds.
