Signet rings were used as early as 3500 BCE, with symbols representing the family and the individual owner of the ring in intaglio, used for stamping important documents. We continued to play with this classic ring style, combining a lozenge shape with straight slicing edges, with a softly curving navette within. High polished gold and sharp angles, balancing a mysteriously glowing, intensely colored gemstone.

14k gold, set with a 1.3 carat navette cabochon cut Mexican fire opal, a custom cut by our lapidary in Los Angeles, with a glowing orange color. Top of ring measures 20 mm x 8 mm.

Size 6, not resizable.
