Art nouveau antique ring with a design of leaves going down the shoulder, set with a chunky single-cut diamond. Japanese art had a huge influence on art nouveau, inspiring the asymmetric, nature-inspired, flowing forms characteristic of art nouveau design. The influence is evident in this ring, with the asymmetric design of large plant leaves with curving stem. The ring is beautifully finished with a matte finish, and the nature-inspired texture continues through the back of the shank. 

Marked, tested 10k gold. In good condition.
