Vintage ring by Spanish jewelry designer Carrera y Carrera, depicting an eagle with a ruby eye, holding a diamond in its beak. The eagle wraps around a luminous baroque pearl, perhaps to represent a mother protecting her eggs. Textured feather details extend around most of the ring, with a small blank section in the back. As with all of Carrera y Carrera's pieces, the ring is finished beautifully, a soft matte finish with polished areas for contrast. 15 mm tall at front, approx. 0.03 ct diamond.

Marked 18k and tested. In good condition, some scratches. Marked with Carrera y Carrera maker's marks and serial number.
