1950s-60s stud earrings by Tiffany & Co, featuring juicy deep purple amethysts bezel-set in yellow gold. Timeless and classic, but a little unexpected with the cabochon cut.
Maker's marks for Larter & Sons and Tiffany & Co. Larter & Sons was based in New Jersey, and manufactured jewelry for both Tiffany & Co and Cartier New York.
Marked, tested 14k. Comes in a pair, with butterfly backs.
