Art Deco Filigree Solitaire Diamond Ring Sz 5 3/4 18k
Art Deco Filigree Solitaire Diamond Ring Sz 5 3/4 18k
A charming Art Deco solitaire ring, with an intricate filigree setting in white gold, holding an old European cut diamond. The combination of openwork and engravings lends a dainty, fanciful look to the piece from every angle- we especially love the floral motifs that can be viewed only from the side, and all the milgrain to add texture. While modern white gold is generally rhodium-plated for a shiny finish, this piece retains the original color of the alloy, with a slightly warm, "champagne" color that complements the warmer diamond perfectly. Lively even in low light, the old European cut diamond charms with a unique sparkle thanks to its hand-cut, chunky facets.
Diamond is SI2 clarity, M color, approx. 0.36 cts.

FAQs
FAQs
What is gold karat level? ▿
You'll see in all our descriptions a number and then "k" (ex. 14k, 17k, 12k). This indicates the purity level of the gold in the piece, which is the ratio of other metals to gold in the piece. Pure gold, which is not often used in jewelry because it is softer, is 24k. 14k (which is the most common in the U.S.) is 14 parts gold to 10 parts other metals, making up a total of 24 parts. The purity level is also sometimes conveyed as a percentage (ex. 375, 585, 750).
What does estate/vintage/antique mean? ▿
Vintage refers to pieces that are over 20 years old, while antique refers to pieces over 100 years old. We use "estate" to refer to pre-owned pieces that are less than 20 years old or ones we can't determine an exact age for. Vintage and antique pieces can have imperfections or scratches from being owned and worn before. We do our best to document and make clear any imperfections in our photos and listings, and please ask questions before purchasing if there's anything you are unsure about! Product colors may slightly vary due to photographic lighting sources or your monitor settings, and all measurements are approximate.
