Vintage diamond band from the 1930s-40s with 4 sparkling transitional cut diamonds and 2 single cut diamonds. A classic piece executed beautifully with attention to the smallest detail. White gold prongs hold the diamonds to show off their sparkle. The sides  are in yellow gold, and have a knife edge that adds dimension to the ring, tapering to a smooth band in the back. Transitional cuts refer to early round cut diamonds, between old cuts such as old mine/euro cuts, and the standardized modern round brilliant— these have all the brilliance of a modern diamond with a touch of that old charm. A wonderful ring for stacking and everyday wear.
