connection and memory: beyond adornment

We've always felt that there’s something profound and spiritual about jewelry, since the moment as children when we first wore gold jewelry passed down from our families. Beyond adornment, jewelry serves to connect us to family and our communities, stores our treasured memories and commitments, and is a celebration of the beauty that comes from our Earth.

With this as our guiding light, we craft jewelry to endure and to empower: pieces meant to travel alongside us on our journeys and beyond. Quality, design, and sustainability are non-negotiables to us. Each piece is intended to stand the test of time, becoming a storied heirloom with every passing day. Jewelry is one of humanity's oldest expressions, and we see it as a living thread connecting us to cycles of history, culture, and heritage.

the designers

Irene Wang

A self-taught jewelry designer, my fascination with jewelry began when my mom gifted me my grandmother’s chain. Crafted in high-karat Chinese gold, that chain carries treasured memories and the strength and resilience of these two women, who both worked in male-dominated fields. Sentimentality, and the search for old things that carry power, drew me first to vintage jewelry, and as my collection grew, I became passionate about curating and designing pieces for others too. I design with the wearer in mind, ensuring that the piece is comfortable and can withstand being worn often and loved, meticulously adjusting small details to ensure the design is just right.

Michael Mbakata

I was born in the East Congo (DR), home to some of the largest precious metal deposits in the world. My family’s tradition was to make each child medallions, as a coming-of-age gift. When I received mine, I felt it before I could describe it: something so small carried so much. Heritage and memories resting against my skin. I spent years curating my own collection, refining my perspective through what I chose to wear, before moving into design. I've always felt split between my artistic and analytical sides, and felt like I had to pick one- but both shape my work. My path to jewelry wasn't planned, and I celebrate this by putting pieces into the world to say, “there are no rules to expressing yourself”.
