Founded in 1888 by Carl-Friedrich Bucherer and his wife Luise in Lucerne, Switzerland, Bucherer began as a family-owned boutique bridging the worlds of fine jewelry and haute horlogerie. The house quickly distinguished itself by marrying watchmaking precision with opulent, jewelry-driven design. Bucherer solidified its status in Swiss watchmaking history by partnering with Rolex in the early 1920s, an alliance that made them one of the world's premier retailers of luxury timepieces. Beyond their renowned curation of rare pieces and exquisite in-house production, Bucherer became globally celebrated for its masterful, one-of-kind craftsmanship.
A product of Bucherer's 1970s-80s watchmaking, this piece exemplifies the jewelry watch at the highest level of execution. Crafted in solid 18k yellow gold, the piece features a fluidly woven mesh bracelet giving the watch an elegant drape and feel on the wrist. Inside the watch's case sits a striking natural tiger’s eye stone dial, displaying the characteristic warm, shifting bands of chatoyancy unique to the gemstone. A twinkling bezel of finely set natural diamonds frames the dial, offering a brilliant contrast to the deep, silken texture of the tiger’s eye.

Watches are in working order, and if a mechanical issue arises at no fault of the customer within the first year we will take care of repairs. Please avoid any contact with liquids: due to their age, most vintage watches have reduced water resistance.
Vintage items ship fully insured within 1-4 business days. International shipping is available, but we do not collect sales tax, duties or customs on international orders.
