Antique Victorian ring with a design of two snakes wrapped around each other, with a glimmering little rose cut diamond set into each snake's head. Snakes were a common motif in the Victorian era, considered a symbol of eternal love, and Queen Victoria's engagement ring was a snake ring, influencing everyone else to wear snake jewelry as well.
Unmarked, tested 18k gold. We believe that this is a French piece, as other pieces we've seen of the same design are of French origin. In good condition.
