What is gold karat level?  ▿

All our descriptions include the purity level of the gold in the piece, which is the ratio of other metals to gold. Pure gold, which is not often used in jewelry because it is softer, is 24k. 14k (which is the most common in the U.S.) is 14 parts gold to 10 parts other metals, making up a total of 24 parts.
