This beautiful vintage brooch has a sparkling diamond set in the center, surrounded by swirling designs and 20 luminous seed pearls around the edge of the circle. A stunning piece crafted with careful attention to detail. Brooches are our newest jewelry love-- they're so versatile! Wear on a scarf, on a hat, decorate a lapel, wear as a pendant-- there's so many styling possibilities, and we say the more possibilities the better.

Avon began producing jewelry in the 1960s, but most of it was costume jewelry. This brooch is a rare example of pieces that were created in solid gold, especially ones in 14k-- in researching, we found that a large majority of the solid gold pieces made were lower karat level gold. Vintage Avon jewelry is known for great craftsmanship, and this piece holds up to that reputation. Diamond is approx .10 ct, round brilliant cut, and VS.
