Vintage Oval Opal Pendant 14k

Vintage pendant with a rainbow opal set bezel-set in 14k gold. This opal cabochon in particular exhibits lots of reddish orange and purple flashes. A really lovely stone that looks wonderful simply framed in gold- we could stare at this play-of-color all day. Please note: the brownish stuff that appears to be dirt on the back of the pendant is actually matrix! (the rock that opals appear on)

Marked, tested 14k. In good condition.
