molimo exclusively uses solid sterling silver, karat gold, and platinum in our studio jewelry and curated vintage collections. We are conscious of the environmental impact of mining precious metals used in jewelry, and strive to use post-consumer recycled precious metals, as well as fair trade and artisanally mined sources.

We primarily source post-consumer, reclaimed natural diamonds for our designs, honoring the stones that have already been mined from our earth, while reducing our reliance on big commercial mining. Additionally, we source traceable, ethically mined and cut diamonds from artisanal fair-trade mining operations.

We source traceable and artisanally mined natural gemstones from suppliers that are committed to responsible sourcing, and reclaimed and old stock/deadstock gemstones. Many gemstones are re-cut to our standards or custom cut locally by our lapidary in Los Angeles. We believe in celebrating the beauty that the Earth produces, and use untreated or minimally treated stones.
