Vintage pendant or charm with the Chinese character 福 "fu" on the front, meaning good fortune or blessings, and 幸福 "xing fu" on the back, meaning blessed. This charm is meant to help the wearer attract and retain good fortune and blessings. Crafted out of pure 24k gold with beautiful, rich color.

Marked 9999 for 24k gold, and tested. In good vintage condition.

What is gold karat level?  ▿

All our descriptions include the purity level of the gold in the piece, which is the ratio of other metals to gold. Pure gold, which is not often used in jewelry because it is softer, is 24k. 14k (which is the most common in the U.S.) is 14 parts gold to 10 parts other metals, making up a total of 24 parts. The purity level is also sometimes conveyed as a percentage, ex. 375 (9k), 585 (14k), 750 (18k).
