Vintage ring with a colorful oval opal cabochon surrounded by small rosecut diamonds, one of our favorite stone combinations. The opal is semi transparent with a mostly blue tone, and red, yellow, green, and purple flecks are brought out in the light, and the rosecut diamond halo charms with a gentle glimmer. Details like dainty claws holding the central opal, individual petal-like settings for each diamond, and a gallery with a pattern of little hearts add even more to the charm of this piece.

Signed by Ostby & Barton.

Marked, tested 10k. In good condition, opal has some crazing.
