Collection: art nouveau & edwardian

art nouveau style spanned the years 1895-1915, right around the turn of the century. jewelry of this era was imaginative, inspired by nature and the female form with flowing lines suggesting movement. enamel was often used, masterfully applied to add vibrant color, depth and dimension.

the edwardian era spanned the reign of King Edward, 1901-1910, overlapping with art nouveau but with a very different look. lacy and delicate filigree work was common, and white metals were used such as platinum, platinum over yellow gold, and later, white gold.
